Two weeks ago, President Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans decided they would rather shut down the federal government than come to the table with Democrats to help address skyrocketing health insurance premiums.
I believe that every New Mexican deserves affordable health care and economic security, which is why I’m still fighting in the U.S. Senate to make the enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies permanent.
I won’t let Republicans jack up health care costs
I hope you’ll take a moment to read my op-ed in the Santa Fe New Mexican about how rising health care costs will hurt hardworking New Mexicans.
I stand ready to negotiate a government funding bill with Republicans that serves New Mexicans and helps protect their health care and pocketbooks.
