Heinrich visits Slate Street Café, restaurant saved by PPP

On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Senator Heinrich visited with Myra Ghattas, owner of Slate Street Café and 66 Acres in Albuquerque. Myra has participated in both rounds of the PPP program and feels like the program has saved her business. Senator Heinrich helped secure a $28.6 billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund in the American Rescue Plan to help local restaurants keep their doors open and keep their workers employed.
