Heinrich To Receive Update On Navajo Gallup Water Supply Project

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – On Monday, May 3, 2021 at 4 p.m. MT, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will visit the Cutter Lateral Water Treatment Plant, a federally funded Navajo Gallup Water Supply Project. Senator Heinrich will discuss the bipartisan Drinking Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Act that passed the Senate on Thursday, which makes robust investments in drinking water and wastewater infrastructure for Tribal communities.

As a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Heinrich is committed to ensuring that projects like the federally funded Navajo Gallup Water Supply Project have the funding they need to connect Tribal communities with clean drinking water.
