Project Description and Explanation: The Doña Ana County Flood Commission will update the 2013 La Union Area Drainage Master Plan for the northern portion of the community to protect against future flooding and repair damage from a catastrophic 2021 flood.

Project Description and Explanation: The Village of Hatch will rebuild Canal Street Bridge as part of a multiphase flood mitigation plan

Project Description and Explanation: Doña Ana County will complete the upgrade of the Doña Ana County Emergency Operations Center.

Santa Clara Pueblo

Amount Requested: $1,350,000

Project Description and Explanation: The Santa Clara Pueblo Pre-Disaster Mitigation Project will implement resilient flood control infrastructure to diminish the threat of catastrophic flooding events in Santa Clara Canyon.

Project Description and Explanation: The New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will use funding for wildfire mitigation near the federally recognized historic site of Los Luceros.
