Convening A Roundtable In Rio Arriba County To Address Heroin And Opioid Crisis, February 17, 2016

U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich convenes a roundtable discussion with U.S. Health and Human Services Region Six Director Marjorie Petty and various local stakeholders, including the Rio Arriba Community Health Council, at the Delancey Street Foundation in Ohkay Owingeh to highlight ongoing efforts and ways to better address the heroin and prescription drug crisis in New Mexico. Senator Heinrich also toured the facility where residents have the opportunity to receive treatment and recovery services for addiction. The facility includes a library, woodshop, plants and glass room, and upholstery department.
