Heinrich Joins Albuquerque Public Schools To Unveil Atrisco Heritage Academy High School’s Photo-Voltaic and Battery Storage Project

On Thursday, August 18, 2022, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) joined Albuquerque Public Schools leadership for the unveiling of Atrisco Heritage Academy High School’s photo-voltaic and battery storage project. Senator Heinrich, a member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and Co-Chair of the Electrification Caucus, recently championed the Inflation Reduction Act into law which includes a standalone investment tax credit (ITC) specifically for energy-storage projects.
