Heinrich Statement On 14th Anniversary Of September 11 Terrorist Attacks

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) released the following statement recognizing the 14th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks:

"Today, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11 and pay tribute to all who, despite grave danger, risked their lives to help their fellow Americans.  We also pause to show gratitude for the troops and veterans who have made tremendous sacrifices since 9/11 and those who are currently serving our country at home and abroad. I join New Mexicans in keeping all those we lost 14 years ago and their families in our thoughts and prayers."
