Heinrich Statement On Supreme Court Decision On The Affordable Care Act

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) issued the following statement after the Supreme Court overwhelmingly rejected the Republican-led states’ effort to dismantle the health care law: 

“If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that having access to affordable health care can mean life or death. Today’s Supreme Court ruling is welcome news and should signal to Republicans that they must put an end to their foolish crusade to repeal the Affordable Care Act. It’s time we all recognize the needs and health concerns of every American. The ACA is here to stay.”
