Heinrich To Hold Media Availability Following Tour Of Albuquerque Post Office Under Scrutiny For Poor Conditions

ALBUQUERQUE – Today, Friday, September 14, at 4:30 p.m., U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) will hold a press availability in Albuquerque following a tour of the Steve Schiff Post Office (9719 Candelaria Rd NE) that has received scrutiny for lack of staff, resources, poor working conditions, and mail delays. Senator Heinrich recently sent a letter to the United States Postal Service Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer regarding concerns from the American Postal Workers Union Local 380 and will be receiving an update on improvements from the USPS.
