Heinrich advocates for updated dosimeters to combat against troop radiation exposure

During a Subcommittee on Airland hearing to discuss Army modernization, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich advocated for updated dosimeters to combat against troop radiation exposure. Senator Heinrich stressed that the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency recently warned the world community about the increased dangers of a potential nuclear incident as new vulnerabilities of theft or misuse of nuclear materials have been identified. He underscored that such incident at home or abroad could put our service men and women at dangerous risk of radiation exposure. April 5, 2016
