Heinrich presses Senate Republicans to act on Supreme Court vacancy

During a press conference in front of the Supreme Court of the United States, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) urged Senate Republicans to do their job, stop ignoring the Constitution, and confirm a new Supreme Court justice. Following the passing of U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, the Senate Republican leadership has said they will refuse to hold hearings or vote on any nominee for the vacant seat.
