Heinrich Urges For Increased Investment At White Sands Missile Range

During a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing to consider Eric K. Fanning for Secretary of the Army, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich discussed increased investment and sustainment of Major Range and Test Facility Bases (MRTFB) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR). Senator Heinrich fought to included language in the FY16 National Defense Authorization Act urging the Department of Defense to provide increased military construction funds for WSMR. WSMR offers unique capabilities and is a premier testing and training facility for our military. January 21, 2016.
