National Park Service Centennial Photo Exhibit, November 14, 2016

On November 14, 2016, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on National Parks, was an honorary co-hosts of a U.S. Capitol reception in celebration of our national parks. The event kicked off the photo exhibit, National Parks of the American Southwest: A Centennial Portrait, in the Russell Senate Office Building Rotunda. The exhibit features work by New Mexico photographer Cody Brothers and showcase iconic national parks highlighting the natural and cultural heritage of the American Southwest. Brothers was born in Farmington and grew up in Albuquerque until high school. He returned to the state in 2005 and currently resides in the village of Pecos. He and his wife Nikkol own and operate Visions Photo Lab in Santa Fe. The exhibit is sponsored by Cody Brothers Photography, National Parks Conservation Association, and The Springs Preserve.
