Heinrich, City Of Las Cruces To Host Arts And Culture Workshop

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), in collaboration with City Councilor Gabe Vasquez with the City of Las Cruces, will host the third iteration of an ongoing workshop series called Celebrating Culture: Workshops Supporting New Mexico Arts. The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. MT at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces.

“Art and culture are synonymous with New Mexico, and our artists carry on cultures that date back centuries,” said Heinrich. “My goal for these workshops is to support the artists and organizations that help our state’s arts and culture thrive generation after generation. These workshops will connect New Mexico's arts organizations and artists to federal, local, and private resources.”
