Heinrich, Flake To Hold Press Conference On Bill To Permanently Close Domestic Violence Loophole Exploited By Texas Shooter

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, November 7 at 2:45 p.m. MT/4:45 p.m. ET U.S. Sens. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) will hold a press conference and media avail in the Senate Radio-Television Gallery Studio to introduce the Domestic Violence Loophole Closure Act; legislation that will close the background check loophole exploited by the Sutherland Springs, Texas shooter and prevent any individual convicted of domestic violence – whether it is in civilian or military court – from legally purchasing a firearm.
