Heinrich Launches New Website To Better Serve The People Of New Mexico

"My online office is not just a one-way street, it is a direct line to me and my staff for your ideas and concerns."

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) announced the launch of his online office to better serve the people of New Mexico. The new website, Heinrich.Senate.Gov, gives constituents a convenient way to request assistance and to share their opinion on key issues facing New Mexico and the nation.

Serving as a portal to Senator Heinrich's work in the Senate, the new website also allows users to access live webcasts of committee hearings, news releases, videos, and track legislation. The site is optimized for use on all computers and mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones, and can be translated into Spanish with the click of a button.

"My new website gives New Mexicans a convenient way to connect with me no matter where they are, and seek assistance and information from my office. The website has a fresh, dynamic design and is focused on providing comprehensive constituent services," said Sen. Heinrich.

A Welcome Video features the new website and highlights the many ways Senator Heinrich's office can help New Mexicans. The Helping You tab is a one-stop shop for constituent services, application for military academy nominations, filing casework, flag requests, and tours of the U.S. Capitol. Students can also gain valuable experience, and observe first-hand how our government operates by applying for an internship in New Mexico or Washington, D.C. Visitors to the site can also easily sign up for email updates to get the latest news on legislation and events and connect with Senator Heinrich on Facebook and Twitter.

Senator Heinrich's online office is also a comprehensive resource for members of the press. In the Newsroom, reporters will have direct access to the latest news releases, statements, transcripts, speeches, photos, and videos.

"My online office is not just a one-way street, it is a direct line to me and my staff for your ideas and concerns. Because we all know the best ideas don't come from Washington, they come from folks back home," said Sen. Heinrich.
