El Día de los Niños is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for children from all backgrounds. It highlights a daily commitment to linking children and their families to diverse books, languages and cultures. Senator Heinrich has long advocated for bold investments in expanding access to high-quality pre-K for all four years olds in New Mexico and improving access and affordability to high-quality child care options.
