Every New Mexican deserves to be safe in their home, school, and community. As one of the lead negotiators of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, I was proud to successfully pass Congress' first major gun safety law in three decades. But we must do more. New Mexicans can count on me to keep seeking common-sense solutions to reduce crime, hold criminals accountable, get survivors the supports they need, and fight the flow of illicit drugs into our communities.
