We Won’t Turn Our Backs On The People Who Make This Country Work

Dear Friend, 

Yesterday I talked with Wolf Blitzer on CNN about the government shutdown. I told him how Republicans are not willing to step up and take care of working people, even as they give tax breaks to Trump’s billionaire buddies, build extravagant ballrooms, and bail out other countries.
 
The bottom line is: If we can afford a $3.4 trillion tax cut for people like Elon Musk, we can sure as hell afford to keep the healthcare tax credits in place that working class folks in this country absolutely rely on to live healthy lives.
