Heinrich To Join Sanders To Unveil Drug Importation Bill To Help Lower Prescription Drug Costs For Middle Class Families

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich  (D-N.M.) will join U.S. Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Bob Casey (D-PA.), Angus King (I-ME) and U.S. Representatives Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) at a press conference today at 12:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. MT to unveil new legislation to allow the importation of prescription drugs into the United States. The members of Congress have come together on legislation that will allow for drug importation while maintaining important safety standards.
