Heinrich Partners With City Of Santa Fe To Host 2015 Energy Summit

SANTA FE, N.M. - On Wednesday, August 12, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and the City of Santa Fe will host the 2015 Santa Fe Energy Summit at the Santa Fe Community College (SFCC). The event will bring together experts, business and tribal leaders, public officials, and decision makers to advance the clean energy economy in northern New Mexico through innovation, investment, smart policies, and collaboration.

U.S. Department of Energy Deputy Secretary Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall and Senator Heinrich will deliver opening remarks, followed by a Q&A session moderated by Santa Fe Mayor Javier Gonzales, which will air on Santa Fe Community Television SFCTV-16 and be streamed live on the web.

The summit will feature a diverse set of panel discussions including:

  • Renewable Energy Project Development in Pueblo Country
  • Renewable Energy-Water Nexus 
  • Microgrid Solutions
