TODAY: Bipartisan Sportsmen's Act To Receive Key Committee Hearing

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A hearing on the provisions of S. 556, the Bipartisan Sportsmen's Act, under the jurisdiction of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee is scheduled for a hearing today, Thursday, March 12, at 10 a.m. ET/8 a.m. MT.

The Bipartisan Sportsmen's Act, which Senator Heinrich introduced last month with Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), includes a broad array of bipartisan measures to enhance opportunities for hunters, anglers, and outdoor recreation enthusiasts, reauthorize key conservation programs, improve access to public lands, and help boost the outdoor recreation economy.
